lé soleil was born from two women who didn’t know how to slow down.
 

We were always doing, planning, thinking about what comes next.

And for a long time, we thought that was just how life was supposed to feel.

Until we realized we didn’t want to rush through our own lives anymore.

That feeling became lé soleil.

We didn’t create lé soleil because the world needed another beauty brand.

We created it as a gentle reminder for every woman to slow down and make a little more room for herself.

It Started With Gloss.

We wanted to start with something simple. Something we both actually use all the time. 

And for us, that was lip gloss.

It’s the thing you put on at home, in the car, before you go out, or just because you’re standing in front of the mirror.

There’s something about taking those few seconds to put it on that just makes you feel good.

So that’s where we started.

Four shades, four moods  and our very first piece of lé soleil.

We care about what we make, how we make it, and every little detail in between.

01 — Made With Purpose.

We don’t create products just to have something new to launch.

Every product has to bring something special in the formula, the experience, or simply in the way it makes you feel when you use it.

02 — Every Detail Matters.

The shape. The shade. The texture.
The packaging. The words. The way it feels in your hand.

Sometimes it’s the smallest detail that changes the whole experience.

So yes, we notice everything.

And we hope you do too.

03 — Made With Love.

 Actually.

We tried. We changed things. We started over. 

And then tried again.

                                                                                          
It took us more than two years to get to our first launch not because we were trying to take our time, but because some things simply weren’t worth rushing.

There were changes, delays, versions we loved and then changed our minds about, and a lot of learning along the way.

We could have launched sooner.

We just didn’t want to launch until we had something we were genuinely proud of.

And that’s something we want to carry into every product we make.

Take the time. Get it right. Then put lé soleil on it.

Everything else in real life.

Marketing in the morning.

Customer service five minutes later.

Calling vendors in between.

Planning content, checking orders, answering DMs, talking to suppliers, working on PR and somehow discussing the next product at the same time.

Which is kind of funny for two women who built a brand around slowing down.

But maybe that’s the whole point.

We’re learning to enjoy the process, celebrate the little wins, and stop rushing to whatever comes next.

And while lé soleil grows, we hope you’ll grow with us.
